Many dental procedures require extensive record taking, intricate planning, referrals to other practitioners, special preparatory work and may require several stages in the treatment plan.  Consultations are an opportunity for us to present to the patient all the aspects of the proposed treatment plan right down to the final outcome.  The patient also has the opportunity to ask questions or raise any concerns they may have.  The patient is then able to make informed decisions about their dental needs.
